During my time as a content creator at Biscuits and Blues and as a freelance photographer for Value Culture, I discovered a love for capturing the raw emotion and energy of live music. From intimate blues performances in the heart of San Francisco to open-air concerts in Golden Gate Park with artists like Pato Banton, these moments taught me how to tell stories through rhythm, light, and movement.

Beyond the stage, I’ve found meaning in capturing the quiet beauty of connection — moments that unfold naturally within communities and cultural gatherings. Through my work with Value Culture, I photographed an intimate dinner with the great Kathy Fang, celebrating the intersection of Chinese and Jewish traditions, where shared stories and food bridged generations. I also documented a friend’s art show, which blended traditional Hawaiian culture and stories with modern living and design, bringing pieces of home to San Francisco. These experiences deepened my appreciation for photographing culture as it lives — personal, evolving, and full of warmth.

usf athletics | creative media assistant | powerade | 2023-2024During my time as a Creative Media Assistant at the University of San Francisco, I learned how to blend storytelling with purpose. I led a photoshoot for a prospective volleyball recruit, aiming to make her feel celebrated and welcomed into the USF community. This experience taught me how photography can shape first impressions. I also assisted on a Powerade ad challenge shoot, capturing portraits of a basketball player and supporting the lighting direction with a reflector. These projects strengthened my understanding of creative collaboration and the impact of visual communication in athletic and brand storytelling.

the life of smiski - 2022The concept here was for the Smiski doll to portray me. Smiski is living the life of a typical college student - studying, doing laundry, and eating ice cream. Through my years of collecting Smiski dolls, seeing each of their characters and personalities brings me immense joy and happiness.
